Terms & Conditions

Buying from us

We really want to sell tape, and we guess you’re here because you really want to buy tape (or maybe you’re here just because we sell stuff to awesome people and you think you’re pretty awesome too). Whatever the case may be, it’s a simple proposition. We sell, you buy.

Our website displays the range of tape that we sell. Each tape has a price. Sometimes it’s on special, and sometimes it’s not. If you’ve got a coupon, well then lucky you – see below. But eventually, if you press all the right buttons and make the necessary payment, we’ll ship the tape of your choice to you. See? Can’t be any more simple than that.

Shipping and delivery

After you buy stuff, we send it to you – that’s not a bad arrangement is it? All of our shipping and delivery costs are flat rates depending on your destination. We’re limiting our delivery destinations to Australia and New Zealand at the moment, but if you’re further out and you really want our tape, you just need to let us know and we’ll see what we can do for you.

We currently ship by Australia Post and you’ll receive an email with the tracking details so you where it’s up to. Obviously, we can’t control delivery times (and Australia Post has recently announced that postage is going to cost more and take longer to deliver!) but generally, it should be within 2-4 days for both Australia-wide and New Zealand.

Points & Rewards

We’re in the process of depreciating the Points & Rewards programme. From 1 July 2022, purchases will no longer earn any points, and points will no longer be redeemable for rewards after 30 November 2022. If you’ve got existing points, make sure you redeem them today!

We’ve got a points and rewards scheme (doesn’t everyone these days?) and it works really simple. For every $1 you spend, you get 1 point. For every 10 points you earn, you get back $1 which you can credit towards your next order (but only up to 50% of certain tape products and generally not applicable to limited and special edition products). Points are only valid for 6 months from the date that you earn them, so make sure you rack them up and redeem those points quickly!

It’s a reward for loyalty and intended to keep you coming back and ordering more, however, it only applies to products that you buy online from the Finger Tape™ Online Store – but not from anywhere else.

(Points are also not redeemable for cash and are not transferrable. You can only redeem your points to use as credit towards buying other products.)

Returns & Refunds

If you’ve changed your mind about the tape that you’ve bought and you haven’t opened the packaging or used it, you can return it to us within 3 days of receiving it (this will be calculated according to the tracking information with Australia Post). You’ll have to cover the return postage, a 20% restocking fee, and the balance will be refunded to you as a credit to use in the Finger Tape™ Online Store (this is basically our eBay Store policy).

If you’ve got a problem with the tape that you’ve bought but you’ve opened the packaging and/or you’ve used it, let us know (ie, provide photographs and an explanation of your issue). Sometimes this can be really good feedback for us which will help us improve our products or processes, and if so we may (in our discretion) reward that with credit that you can use in the Finger Tape™ Online Store.


You’ve got yourself a discount coupon? Well done! Keep an eye out because we’ll be announcing different promotions from time to time. The best way to keep up to date would be to follow us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Each coupon will be subject to its own terms and conditions, so make sure you’re aware of the conditions and limitations of each coupon. If you’re not sure, ask us!

Normally, coupons cannot be used with other coupons or on sales items, and unless stated will only apply as a discount to products but not delivery costs. Some coupons will have an expiry date as well.


We only need your information and use your information to make your shopping (and buying) experience more convenient and enjoyable. We don’t use your information for any other purpose. So it’s not going to end up in the hands of some call centre overseas asking if you’ve been in a car accident and want to claim compensation. No way.

So you might get an email from us now and then asking if you wanted more tape or even giving you a coupon for discounts in our online store. Now that can’t be a bad thing, can it?


Normally, you’d see a whole lot of product disclaimers here – but not from us. Of course, we don’t make any promises that Finger Tape™ is going to make you the next ADCC champion or that it would even improve your game. Be real! It’s just tape. How you use it is entirely up to you. One thing is for sure, you’re going to look a whole lot better when you’re wearing Finger Tape™.

Hopefully, you do something really spectacular with Finger Tape™ and when people ask, “wow – what tape is that?” you can then proudly say “It’s Finger Tape™.” and we’d never disclaim that!


We hope these terms and conditions are simple enough to understand. We don’t have time to muck around with lawyers and you shouldn’t either. We just want to sell you tape. How awesome is that?
